Matt Busick has been an investment advisor representative registered with the State of Iowa or the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") since September 1994. He is the founder and president of Veerkloh, LLC, d/b/a River Glen Wealth Counselors ("RGWC"), an investment advisor registered with the SEC. Before founding RGWC in 2006, Matt was a registered representative with various securities firms for fourteen years, including American Express Financial Advisors, Inc. ("American Express"). While with American Express, Matt was awarded the President's Recognition for Quality Advice, the firm's highest distinction for financial planning quality, each year for the entire life of the program (1995-2005).
Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in social policy from Northwestern University, and served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps before beginning his career as a financial planning professional. Matt is a Certified Financial Planner and holds an MBA in finance from the University of Iowa, both earned throughout the past 14 years while working to build a financial planning and investment advisory practice..He also served on the board of directors for Emerging Growth Group, a Des Moines, Iowa based business incubator, from 2000 to 2005.
Heather Welch Puri
Heather Welch Puri has served in various financial advisory roles since graduating with distinction from Stanford University in June 1994 with a degree in Quantitative Economics. Most recently, Heather worked as an Associate and Valuation Specialist for Alliant Partners / Silicon Valley Bancshares, a technology mergers and acquisitions firm located in Palo Alto, CA. While with Alliant Partners, Heather played a significant role in the execution of over 30 transactions with a combined consideration of over $2 billion, including buy and sell side acquisitions, fairness opinions and valuations.
Heather received her M.B.A. with honors and distinction from Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University in June 1999. Prior to attending business school, she worked for several years as a Senior Consultant with Deloitte & Touche's Financial Advisory Group in San Francisco, CA. Heather also worked as a Summer Associate in the Investment Research Department of Goldman Sachs in New York City during business school.
